Cream SPF 15 serves to effectively treat skin´s pigmentations such as pregnancy spots, blotches caused by cosmetics, sun spots, freckles. Contains 3% of thioctic acid, which along with Vitamin E, exerts a potent antioxidant, neutralizing free radicals of oxygen and nitrogen. Furthermore, along with the Kojic Dipalmitate and phytic acid, contributes to the inhibition of tyrosinase, the first step in the process of melanin synthesis and formation of hyperpigmentation. The synergistic effect of these components together with the introduction of the product sunscreens (SPF 15) make Thiomelan Depigmentation Cream SPF 15 a potent inhibitor of melanogenesis.
Its name comes from the Koji fungus and it is one of the most effective skin lightening products known. Kojic acid inhibits the action of tyrosinase in the melanin production process, which makes it a great active substance to prevent stains and for its skin lightening properties.
Phytic acid is an excellent antioxidant that prevents cell damage which may progress to cancer. Phytic acid prevents reactions between iron and oxygen that produce free radicals which cause skin aging and certain degenerative diseases.
Vitamin F is the name given to unsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic acid, which are essential. The body cannot synthesise these and they must be provided in the diet. Vitamin F helps keep skin and hair in good condition. It stimulates the immune system and reduces hypertension.
