Proyecto País is an initiative for institutional cooperation and sustainable development for the indigenous communities of the Colombian Amazon through the cultivation and processing of cacay oil.

This project stems from Dr. Gabriel Serrano's commitment to Colombia and his desire to contribute positively to a region that, despite its historical challenges, remains a country of enormous human, cultural, and natural wealth.


Proyecto País aims to:

• Generate decent and sustainable employment in the Amazon.

• Work directly with the indigenous communities that harvest cacay.

• Implement a real fair trade model.

• Support educational, health, and technical training programs.

• Protect the rainforest through sustainable practices and the comprehensive use of the fruit.

KEY INGREDIENTS


Cacay oil

Cacay oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the fruit, also known as "Barinas Nut," from the tree Caryodendron orinocense Karst. It stands out for its higher content of Vitamins A, E, and F, squalene, and sterols compared to other vegetable oils.

Linoleic acid: 2 times higher than argan oil, offering excellent emollient and antioxidant properties.

Retinol/Vitamin A: 2 times higher than rosehip oil, stimulating collagen and elastin production and aiding in skin regeneration.

Vitamin E: Provides outstanding antioxidant and anti-aging properties by reducing lipid peroxidation in tissues, a major cause of skin aging.

Phytosterols: Act as emollients and skin softeners.

Squalene: Reduces oxidative damage to the skin.
