Lactoperoxidase favours endogenous growth of Bifidobacteria, creating an environment for the establishment and development of good intestinal bacterial flora. It acts synergistically with lactoferrin and lysozyme increasing its antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal capacity. These enzymes strengthen the immune system.
Superoxide dismutase is an anti-inflammatory and powerful antioxidant agent synthesised by our body. Its production decreases with age. It neutralises superoxide, a very destructive free radical. Aging is caused by oxidative damage that accumulates over time.
